Climate change and public health in the U.S. Virgin Islands

Climate and Health: New Challenges for the Virgin Islands is a one-hour special, presented in nine parts, featuring Virgin Islands science and health experts who discuss linkages between climate and health. Climate and Health program hosts Dr. LaVerne Ragster, Winthrop Maduro, and Pamela R. Samuel speak with Nicholas Drayton, Program Coordinator of VI EPSCoR; Aaron Hutchins, Director of the Nature Conservancy of the Virgin Islands; Paul Chakroff, Executive Director of the St. Croix Environmental Association; Karl Knight, Policy Advisor for the Office of the Governor; Jason Budsan, Outdoor Enthusiast; and Stevie Henry, Data Manager for University of the Virgin Islands Eastern Caribbean Center about how the public can help to reduce the impacts of climate change on land and oceans. They also provided details as to how data is being collected to measure climate changes.
